Today, after being sick and cooped up for 3 days, I decided I had to, absolutely HAD TO get out. But I just wasn't sure where to go. I started driving and this is where I found myself. Across town, near my sister's house, at the river. The river to myself, not a soul around, a sinking sun, pants rolled up, soaking my feet in the mud, and taking it all in. It helped, it really, really helped. Still fuzzy, but somewhat revived.
