In our school talent show, one boy in my class brought his "trained" turtle in to demonstrate so fancy footwork, which brought forth a lot of good belly laughs!

Strawberry Heaven!

My favorite part of summer time is the quality and variety of fresh fruit available. I love the melons, the berries, the peaches, the nectarines, the plums, the kiwi . . .
This morning for breakfast, I had a bowl of cottage cheese with bananas, strawberries, and peaches! Yummy!

I wanted to take a picture of me holding one of these strawberries, just so you could get an idea how big they really are (about the size of the palm of my hand), but my camera wouldn't focus that close up, no matter how hard I tried. These are the best strawberries ever! <3

The more I learn....

... the more I realize how much I really don't know!

One of the greatest promises we have been given is that the only thing we can take with us to the next life is what we have learned in this life. So instead of focusing on what we have to leave behind, I am trying to focus on becoming a better, more well rounded, well educated, loving, caring person dedicated to passing it on to others. So bring on the Master's load and thesis!

Another ObG (#32)

"No book is really worth reading at the age of ten which is not equally – and often far more – worth reading at the age of fifty and beyond."

"You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me." ~C. S. Lewis

I have realized that I removed all my recent pictures from my SD card and put them on my school computer, but did not transfer them to the flash drive yet, so here is another ObG. This one is dedicated to everyone who loves to read as much as I do.

Good bye to elementary! ObG#31

A. Rogers 2008

This is one of the groups of kids I had 2 years ago as 3rd graders. They are not acting. This is reality. Now that they have graduated elementary school, I am thinking, perhaps, they have matured a bit too, but that is hoping for a lot!
Here we come Lava Ridge!!!

Eye see you! ObG#30

I love this picture I took of a replica of a coyote skull a couple of years ago when we went on our annual Snow Canyon State Park field trip.
